John Tricket

John Trickett is a British painter best known for his realistic depictions of hunting scenes with dogs, deer, and birds. Born in 1953 in Sheffield, United Kingdom, he worked as an accountant after playing professional soccer for a number of years. Trickett is a self-taught painter, yet he is now considered one of the prominent dog portraitists in Britain. In his book Reflections of the Countryside, the artist discusses his life and artistic process. His paintings and prints can be seen at Sally Mitchell Fine Arts Ltd in Tuxford, United Kingdom. Trickett lives and works in Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom.
