 Richard Beavis
(1824 - 1896)

Very little is known about the English painter Richard Beavis. We know that he was born in Exmouth in 1824 and moved to London in 1846 to study at the academy in Somerset House. From 1852, his work was admitted to the prestigious annual exhibition of the Royal Academy.
